HAMILTON, Mont. -

A 27-year-old Victor man and his infant were taken to St. Patrick Hospital after a car accident south of Victor.

Montana Highway Patrol says the man was heading north shortly before noon, when he drifted off the left side of the road and crossed five lanes of traffic.

Patrol says the car struck a bridge foundation, flipped over and landed in the South Fork of Bear Creek.

The man and the child were air lifted to the hospital. There is no word on their condition at this time.

Highway Patrol says it's not known yet whether drugs or alcohol were involved.
