LOLO, Mont. -

The Lolo Creek Complex fire had some rain Friday morning, although not much.

Winds kicked up, but crews report they didn't hamper progress on the 9,500 acre fire.

The fire is 30% contained.

Firefighters conducted burnouts in strategic areas overnight to protect homes along Highway 12 and the Sleeman Gulch area.

In the video, deputy incident commander Steve Frye explains overnight happenings by referring to the latest perimeter map.
