HELENA, Mont. -

Montana Commissioner of Securities and Insurance Monica Lindeen says she is frustrated and upset that the federal health insurance exchange is still not working weeks after its launch.
She also has a message for state legislators who rejected a Montana-run insurance marketplace earlier this year: I told you so.
Lindeen reminded an interim panel of lawmakers Tuesday that she appeared before the Legislature with insurers, industry groups and individuals to press for a state-run exchange.
Republican-led legislators cited their opposition to President Barack Obama's health law in killing the bill.
Lindeen says she hopes in the future legislators will be able to work together on an issue this important.
The exchange is a key part of the health-care overhaul. It is meant to help uninsured or underinsured people find coverage.
