White House report details effects of sequester cuts in Montana

BOZEMAN, Mont. - The White House laid out just how sequester cuts could affect Montanans.

NBC Montana dug through the report Monday.

The report says the cuts could cost Montana 20 teachers, aides or staff to work students with disabilities.

It says around 1000 civilian Department of Defense workers could be furloughed. That translates in to more than six million in lost wages.

Funding for childhood vaccines would be cut by almost $30,000.  That is equal to  420 fewer children protected against diseases like measles, mumps and whooping cough.

There is much more in the report.  You can read it yourself right here.
