LIVINGSTON, Mont. - NBC Montana has just confirmed that standoff in Livingston ended peacefully right around 1:30 this afternoon.
We were there on West Park when crisis negotiation officers gave the 'all clear'.
Park County authorities tell us they got the call around 8 a.m. Wednesday. A woman told police her husband was armed and threatening to hurt himself.
Authorities tell us they called in more trained officers there to help negotiate so they called Gallatin County Sheriff's Office and Bozeman Police for backup.
"We're going to respond full-force when we have something like this to protect human life and that's the most important thing is human life and that's what we're doing," says Park County Sheriff Allan Lutes.
Lutes tells us no charges were filed against the man but he was taken to the hospital for an evaluation.
