BOZEMAN, Mont. - Kids at the Children's Museum of Bozeman got a special visit, Tuesday.
Folks with the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center brought three raptors to the Children's Museum of Bozeman to teach kids first hand more about these native species.
The show and tell goes along with the museum camp's animal theme.
Kids learned about what an owl eats, how fast a falcon can fly and the migration patterns of a hawk.
We talked to kids who tell us it was exciting to see the birds up close.
"I think it was pretty cool that we could see real, live birds that were injured and were taken into the Grizzly Wolf Discovery Center," says Carter Evans.
All of the raptors were injured at one point. The Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center took the birds in because they were no longer able to survive in the wild.
