BUTTE, Mont. - Butte-Silver Bow police are looking for a missing Butte woman after finding her abandoned car, the woman was apparently last in the Uptown area.
Carole Seccomb is living a mothers nightmare, she showed NBC Montana pictures of her missing daughter, 40-year-old Aimee Heim.
"I'm taking to the officers a lot, trying to get them all the information I know and trying to see where she might be and if she's alright," Seccomb said.
Seccomb filed a missing person report after police found Heim's car abandoned behind a business building on Continental Drive two weeks ago.
Undersheriff George Skuletich told us it's what they found in her car that concerned them.
"When we went to tow the car, we found an empty pill bottle that was Aimee's and a cell phone," he said.
Seccomb said the pills found in her daughter's car are for treating bipolar disorder, and without her medication she gets paranoid.
"When she's paranoid she thinks everybody is out to get her and she wants to stay away from people," Seccomb said.
Seccomb said this isn't the first time Heim has been missing, but this time is different.
"You know, she's taken off before for and stayed gone for two or three days, but never like this," said Seccomb.
Seccomb said she just wishes her daughter would call.
"I'm hopeful, I'm trying to stay hopeful, so Aimee call your mother, please," she said.
Police say Heim is 5-foot-8 and weighs around 120 pounds. She was last seen on the 500 block of West Broadway in Butte wearing a dark, heavy coat.
