Bridger Brewing Co. to release special brew for wilderness area anniversary

BOZEMAN, Mont. - Bridger Brewing Company has prepared a special beer as part of the Wilderness Society's Summer of Lee celebration.

Co-owner David Breck flew over the wilderness area, Wednesday, to get a better idea about the land.

He tells us the Lee Metcalf Summer Ale is a pale ale with citra hops and a concentrated grapefruit flavor with a smooth finish, perfect after a long day on the trails.

He says, when the Wilderness Society approached the company, they wanted to get on board to support a good cause.

"Bridger Brewing, everyone there loves the outdoors. We're all outdoor enthusiasts, that's why we live here...and it just felt like a really good thing to be involved in," says Breck.

The Lee Metcalf Summer Ale debuts at Bridger Brewing's release party Friday night at 5p.

A dollar from every pint will go to the Wilderness Society.
