Bozeman Police: Woman reports sexual assault near MSU's campus

BOZEMAN, Mont. - Bozeman Police are investigating an alleged sex assault near MSU's campus.

Detectives say the alleged incident happened on the 1700-block of South 11th. They say a 21-year-old woman called them early Sunday morning to report a sexual assault she said happened earlier that night.

Detective Steve Crawford says the woman claims she knew her alleged attacker, a 20-year-old man.

When we asked Crawford if charges would be filed, he told us they're still conducting interviews and it's not clear whether charges will be filed at this time.
