Bozeman cartographer creates free interactive crime map of the city

MISSOULA, Mont. - If you live in Bozeman and care about crime in your community you may want to check out this new online map.

It's the brain child of Bozeman cartographer Josh Gage.

Gage used data provided by Gallatin County and the Bozeman Police Department to create an interactive map that shows Bozeman crime dating back to 2002.

Users can search the map chronologically, as well as by time of day or day of the week.

For example between January first and December first of this year, there have been 987 reported thefts and 246 reported DUI's in the city of Bozeman.
