Bozeman area hotel named one of best in U.S.

BOZEMAN, Mont. - The world's largest travel website recently named two Montana hotels as some of the best in the U.S.
TripAdvisor's Traveler's Choice awards honored The Cowboy Up Montana Roadhouse Dinner & Bed and the Gallatin River Lodge.

We went to the Gallatin River Lodge today to find out what this recognition means for them.

Owner Steve Gamble tells us it's an honor for customers to choose them as one of the 25 best, small hotels in the country, based on online reviews.

Yet, he says the award really goes to the staff responsible for keeping things running smoothly on a day-to-day basis.

"It's certainly going to improve our business.  We've been the number one hotel in the Bozeman market on TripAdvisor for close to a year now and I think that does tend to push people our direction," says Gamble.
He says he believes several recent improvements helped to secure a spot in TripAdvisor's best hotels.
Gamble says they upgraded their heating system and added a new building, which doubled their lodging capacity to twelve rooms.

He adds, the Gallatin River Lodge is also recognized as a fly fishing lodge and offers a seasonal, guide service.
