BOLO: Authorities search for Butte walkaway

BOZEMAN, Mont. - The Butte Community, Counseling and Correctional Services, Inc. is looking for 41-year-old Thomas Cockrill after they said he failed to check in with CCCS workers on Wednesday.

They said Cockrill was enrolled in a nonresidential independent living program within the community, and did not show up for his daily physical check in at 6 p.m. They've tried to find him, but all attempts by telephone and physical check of residence have turned up no sign of Cockrill.

According to the Correctional Offender Network, he's gone by aliases, including Barry Moore and Thomas Edward Baramore.

Cockrill is a white male with a medium build, 5-feet-11 inches tall and 210 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes.

The Montana Department of Corrections states he has several tattoos, including the phrase "ladies love outlaws" on his neck, a spider web on his right elbow, scrolls on the back of both arms and several others.

He was convicted of burglary in Ravalli County in 2009.

If you think you've seen Cockrill or know of his whereabouts, you are urged to contact local law enforcement immediately.
