$100K bond set for man accused of trying to suffocate infant

BOZEMAN, Mont. - A judge set bond at $100,000 for a Bozeman man accused of trying to suffocate an infant.

Mickey Lee Wallace appeared in Gallatin County Justice Court Monday morning on the charge of felony assault on a minor.

Court records say police were called to an apartment on the 2200-block of West Oak last Thursday evening.

The child's mother told officers that she and Wallace got into an argument over giving the baby a pacifier.

She told police Wallace became enraged and began squeezing the child and pinched the boy's nose and covered his mouth until he started changing color.
