MISSOULA, Mont. - A Missoula business owner had a rude surprise when he got to work Tuesday morning.
A vehicle crashed into the front of the historic Orchard Homes Market building on Third Street, just off Reserve.
Building owner Ted Rogers said he recently refinished the front of the building. He said it was a market in the 1930's. Now it's used as offices for massage and therapists.
Rogers was disappointed to see the damage when he arrived Tuesday.
"We got here this morning and someone had run through the stop sign…and right across Third Street and ran right into the building and took the front facade out," Rogers said.
Rogers said a Montana Highway Patrol Trooper showed up to investigate, followed some tire tracks and found the person who likely drove into the building. The investigation is ongoing.
