MISSOULA, Mont. - The University of Montana announced Monday that they will bring in the Season 11 winner of American Idol, pop-rock musician Phillip Phillips to the Adams Center for a concert on October 23.
The 23-year-old Georgia native won American Idol in 2012. Phillips has toured the U.S. and the world, joining the stage with Matchbox Twenty, John Mayer and Bruce Springsteen.
He recently released his sophomore album Behind The Light, including his lead single 'Raging Fire.' He is known for one of his most popular songs, 'Home,' on his album The World from the Side of the Moon.
"You know, we're a destination now for artists. Missoula has proven that we can show everyone a great time and that they can come in here and make money and also put on a great show," said Adams Event Center Executive Director Brad Murphy.
