Troopers release name of man killed in I-90 accident


DEER LODGE, Mont. - Montana Highway Patrol Troopers have released the name of a Deer Lodge man who was killed after he ran out in front of a vehicle on Interstate 90.

Vince Demers, 22, was pronounced dead on the scene early Saturday morning.

Montana Highway Patrol Troopers said the accident happened around 2:49 a.m. at miler marker 248 near Whitehall.

Demers apparently ran out in front of vehicle traveling 65 miles an hour. The driver and two passengers were not injured.

The accident is still under investigation, it's unknown if alcohol was a factor but troopers said speed was not.
