Shots fired at Big Sky High, juvenile in custody


MISSOULA, Mont. - Missoula County officials say a juvenile is in custody after reportedly pulling a pistol on some individuals and firing shots into the air near Big Sky High School in Missoula.

It happened around 11:30 Monday night.

Sergeant Jeremiah Peterson with the Missoula County Sheriff's Office confirmed they have one juvenile in custody and he faces charges of negligent endangerment and assault with a weapon.  He is held at the Missoula juvenile facility.

Authorities are not releasing his name because he is a minor.

The investigation is ongoing.
