MISSOULA, Mont. - A semitruck overturned on Highway 200, north of Bonner Tuesday afternoon.
The driver was taken to St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula. Montana Highway Patrol troopers tell NBC Montana they only know that he didn't suffer any life-threatening injuries.
Troopers say it appears the driver was distracted and swerved into the opposite lane when he was heading south on Highway 200 toward Missoula. They believe the driver overcorrected causing the semi to topple on its side.
The rig was carrying a large load of cardboard which was strewn all over the road.
The highway was closed for under an hour while crews cleaned up the wreck and got the semi back onto its wheels.
Troopers say this wreck is a good reminder to folks that you really need to pay attention while driving.
