MISSOULA, Mont. - Ravalli County commissioners have started their review of the recently released independent audit of the embattled Ravalli County Treasurer's Office.
The audit review was scheduled for a 3-hour Friday morning hearing. The audit was spurred Valerie Stamey's troubled tenure as interim treasurer.
About 25 people showed up for the hearing. Commissioners began by viewing photos taken in January of the treasurer's office the morning after Stamey was placed on paid administrative leave.
As of 10:45 a.m., Stamey was not at the hearing.
