Police arrest 3 women in megaload protest


MISSOULA, Mont. - Missoula Police arrested three protestors for blocking a megaload in Missoula Friday.

Carol Marsh, 72, Gail Gliman, 66, and Deborah Rubin, 38, were booked in the Missoula County Detention Center shortly after 1:00 a.m. Friday, on disorderly conduct charges.

The large load of oilfield equipment was stalled for about 20 minutes. It weighs about 750,000 pounds and is headed to Alberta, Canada.

It is the last of three loads that Omega Morgan was hauling from the Port of Umatilla, Ore., to Canada.
