Pedestrian suffers broken wrist after hit-and-run in Missoula


MISSOULA, Mont. - According to the Missoula Police Department, a hit-and-run occurred around 1:30 p.m. on Friday, May 16. Police are seeking any assistance from the public in locating the driver.

The collision occurred at West Broadway and Woody when a 52-year-old pedestrian was hit by an vehicle driving east. The pedestrian was walking his bike across Broadway. The impact knocked the man and his bicycle to the street, while the suspect vehicle continued on Broadway.

An unknown passing motorist stopped and assisted the victim. Police say the victim suffered a broken wrist and was treated at the hostpital before reporting the incident.

Tire skid marks were found at the scene by police.
