MISSOULA, Mont. - A Missoula man changed his plea to guilty Tuesday, for robbing a local drug store.
Detectives say 22-year-old Ryan Mitchell Rudh went into Missoula's Palmer Drug earlier this year wearing a mask and told employees he had a gun. He then allegedly handed a clerk a note asking for prescription drugs.
Rudh originally pleaded not guilty to the felony robbery charge, but in Missoula County District Court Tuesday he changed his plea to guilty.
Prosecutors and Rudh's defense attorney have already outlined an open plea agreement that will likely recommend a 20-year suspended sentence with a five year commitment to the Department of Corrections. Rudh will also be screened for enrollment in the Treasure State Correctional Training Center boot camp program.
The exact details will be worked out during a sentencing hearing scheduled for July.
