MISSOULA, Mont. - Search and rescue teams have confirmed the skier missing since yesterday afternoon has been found alive.
NBC Montana just received word that 30-year-old Derick Wyslick, was found around 10 a.m. in the Grant Creek drainage area.
Wyslick is reportedly hungry and cold, but otherwise in good health.
The skier was exploring with friends, who claimed they were not skiing out of bounds, but got lost around 3 p.m Wednesday. The skier reportedly talked to ski patrol, saying that he thought he was in the Grant Creek drainage. Patrol told him to walk down, not up, but no one had seen him since.
NBC Montana has a crew on scene and will update this story as it develops.
