Man pleads guilty to beating Missoula store clerk with bat

MISSOULA, Mont. - A Missoula man pleaded guilty to beating a convenience store clerk with a baseball bat and admitted to a felony conspiracy to commit robbery charge for a January incident.

Tureadon Thibodeaux faces a maximum sentence of 60-years in prison. He doesn't have a plea deal so his fate is in the hands of the judge.

Three other men are also accused in the south Missoula crime where the store clerk suffered serious head injuries when robbers jumped the store counter, severely beat him, and then took off with the cash register.
