MISSOULA, Mont. - NBC Montana attended the Salish Kootenai College commencement ceremony in Pablo Saturday afternoon.
Officials say it was the largest graduation class there ever.
198 degrees were awarded to 190 students.
To top it off, U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan was the featured speaker.
"I think SKC is doing a great job of creating opportunity and helping young people you know, take the next step in life," said Duncan.
"They're behind you all the way, they give you all you need. There are so many ways to get scholarships and grants through this school," said graduate Danielle Rochte.
"I learned a lot. It was just amazing. I made a lot of friends and the education was awesome," said another graduate Kourtnie Gopher.
"People were willing to help you when you had a problem. Teachers were open when you asked for help," said graduate Egan Black.
Several graduates that NBC Montana talked with, already have jobs lined up.
