Frenchtown Club loses liquor license

MISSOULA, Mont. - It was "last call" for a Frenchtown bar Tuesday morning after the establishment's owner signed off on an agreement with the Department of Revenue to stop operating under an all-alcoholic beverage license.
Frenchtown Club owner Mikell Erving accepted the deal with the Montana Department of Revenue, opting not to pursue an appeal of the State's intent to pull the license for repeatedly violating terms of the license.
State investigators claimed Erving was behind in her lease, giving another party an undisclosed financial interest in the liquor license.
Investigators claim it was the Frenchtown Club's third license violation in three years.
