Fraternity members ride for a cause

MISSOULA, Mont. - This weekend, Missoula will be home to even more bicyclists than usual. Members of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity rode in to Hellgate High School this afternoon as part of their "Journey to Hope." It's a 4,000-mile ride than spans from Seattle to D.C., and it's for a good cause.

Money raised goes to Push America, a group that supports the mentally and physically disabled. Push America is Pi Kappa Phi's official charity.

"The journey of hope really means sort of putting my money where my mouth is and not just saying that I support people with disabilities or I support push America or saying that I really care about these things but completely and fully dedicating myself to it," said rider Zack Kaplan.

The men left Seattle June 3rd and expect to arrive in Washington, D.C. on August 10th.

The 19 men and 8 crew members will head to Phillipsburg Monday, then hit Butte and Bozeman before pedaling south to Wyoming.
