MISSOULA, Mont. - Mayor John Engen was re-elected in a landslide win Tuesday.
Engen pulled in 10,028 votes. Peggy Cain came in second with 2,515.
Engen was first elected in 2006, after a year as a Missoula City Council member. He ran unopposed in the 2009 election.
The mayor celebrated the win with friends and supporters at The Depot in downtown Missoula but made it clear he'll be right back at work at 8 a.m. Wednesday.
"You know we've got lots of work to do, we're continuing our quest for a water company, we're doing great things around development and redevelopment," Engen said Tuesday. "We've got lots of opportunities. We're going to chase them down."
