Details emerge about Darby-area helicopter crash


Darby / Conner - New details are emerging about a helicopter crash-landing that occurred in the Darby-Conner area on Tuesday. An FAA spokesperson tells NBC Montana that the helicopter was a Hughes MD369, and that the pilot lost control upon landing on a private property, and crashed.

Local authorities say that there were four people onboard, and all injuries reported are minor. The FAA and the NTSB are investigating the incident, and it could be several months before officials are able to release a cause for the accident.
