KALISPELL, Mont. - The Flathead's Toys for Tots campaign is going strong but the program needs a few extra hands going into the holiday season.
Program coordinator Carey Dill recently fell ill with pneumonia, and while he's recovering Judy Hawley took over his duties. She told NBC Montana that Toys for Tots is always looking for more gifts to donate, but also more volunteers to help out, not only in the office but picking up donation boxes around the valley.
"Some of the people don't know that we are here to help little kids who don't have toys," said Hawley. "We all volunteer to help."
Donations are also accepted at their main office, located at the Outlaw Inn. For more information, call Toys for Tots at 406-257-1333.
