Ryan Zinke files for U.S. House seat


KALISPELL, Mont. - Former Whitefish State Senator Ryan Zinke made his latest campaign official today by filling to run for the United States House of Representatives.

Zinke served in the military as a Navy Seal for 23 years.

At a filling announcement today in Whitefish, Zinke said he was ready to accept a new challenge and to continue to dedicate himself to public service.

He talked about repealing the Affordable Care Act, making the country energy independent, and creating jobs and growing the economy by getting government out of the way.

Zinke is the fourth republican to run for Steve Daines U.S. house seat, following Matt Rosendale of Glendive, Elise Arntzen and Corey Stapleton of Billings.
