Parents plead not guilty in Amber Alert case

KALISPELL, Mont. - A Flathead couple accused of abducting their 1-year-old son and fled to Washington appeared in Flathead County District Court Thursday.

Bryndi Gibson and Beau Blasius pleaded not guilty to several charges stemming from the incident on April 27. Investigators say Gibson and Blasius took their son, Brayden Blaisus from his custodial grandparents and drove off to Washington in a stolen vehicle.

An Amber Alert was issued for Brayden on Sunday, April 28. Authorities found Blasius and Gibson in Fife, Washington.

If convicted, the pair can each face 20-30 years in prison.
