MISSOULA, Mont. - Tonight's midnight tax deadline has sent some Missoula-area residents scrambling to file their taxes. NBC Montana paid a visit to H&R Block's downtown location, where staff are staying at the branch until midnight to help residents file.
Staff members tell our team they expect a steady flow of customers through the night, but nothing they can't handle. NBC Montana also spoke with a variety of customers, including one woman who couldn't file until today because she was out of town, and a local resident named Aiko White who had already filed taxes, but was in the branch tying up some loose ends.
"It's a really great thing to get your taxes done, because I love getting the returns and being able to spend it on things that I'm not able to normally," said White.
