KALISPELL, Mont. - Race fans flocked to Montana Raceway Park Saturday morning for "Test, Tune, and Tech Day." Often referred to as "bug day" by drivers, the day gives them the chance to bring out their cars, take a few practice laps, and get cleared to drive for the season.
The annual Test, Tune and Tech is the kick off for racing at Raceway Park, and drivers we spoke to were thrilled for the upcoming events like the G.E.T Rich at the MT Gold 212 and the popular Montana 200.
"We come every week," said driver Ryan Wells. "I feel like we're going to have a great car just like last year. We are the 2011-2012 track champion and I think we're going to do it again."
Montana Raceway Park hosts its spring opener on May 11.
