Today's severe weather threat is low across western Montana.
Very little change is expected in the forecast. High pressure will be the dominant feature through Saturday. Hazy sunshine and very warm to hot temperatures. High temperatures will be in the 80s in Butte and Bozeman and the low to mid 90s in Missoula and Kalispell. There is a slight chance of an afternoon thunderstorm across southwest Montana around Butte and Bozeman.
Smoke from wildfires in British Columbia and Washington will continue to be a nuisance through the end of the week. This morning the air quality is being reported as moderate for most areas. However, it is unhealthy for sensitive groups in Butte and West Yellowstone.
Temperatures this weekend will be in the upper 70s and 80s with the possibility of a few showers and storms on Sunday.
