Benefit for Tyler Huston to be held on Sunday

KALISPELL, Mont. - Cinco de Mayo celebrations will take on a whole new meaning for one Flathead family on Sunday. Tyler Huston, 20, of Kila has suffered from a heart condition ever since he had a heart attack at the age of five. He has a pacemaker, but part of the pacemaker, the lead, recently failed.

The surgery to fix the problem is costly, running upwards of $150,000, and has to be done soon. The Huston's reached out to the Zone Family Fun Center in Kalispell, who will host an outdoor market on Sunday, with all proceeds going towards Tyler's medical bills.

"The lead can permanently fail at any moment. So it's like he's walking on eggshells and so are we," said Tyler's grandmother, Ginger. "We love him and we don't want to lose him. He's got a lot to do, he's got a lot in his life that he can accomplish and he deserves to keep going."

The event runs from 11am-8pm at the Zone Family Fun Center in Kalispell.
