KALISPELL, Mont. -

Kalispell Police Chief Roger Nasset tells us that while New Year's Eve hasn't historically been a big enforcement problem in Kalispell, the department will have extra officers out patrolling for drunk drivers.

"My best advice if you're going to go out and drink, make sure that you've got a sober driver, or certainly know your limits. It's not worth getting a DUI and it's very costly. So just be careful about that." says Nasset.

Another option exists this year for holiday revelers that are too intoxicated to drive home. Brush Towing in Kalispell has decided to offer a Tipsy Tow program for the first time this holiday season.

Bar patrons who can't drive their vehicle home can call Brush at (406) 871-9395 and receive a ride home, and a tow for their vehicle, within 10 miles of the bar at no charge.

Brush Towing has posted signs advertising the service at nearly all of the bars around Kalispell and is also accepting reservations for this service and they tell us they already have a few people signed up.
