Justice Scalia's Bozeman Speech

POSTED: 4:12 PM Aug 19 2013   UPDATED: 11:18 AM Aug 20 2013

Justice Antonin Scalia’s visit to Bozeman, sponsored by the Federalist Society, was chiefly a Q&A session in which the Justice stressed a central theme of the importance of Textualism and Originalism in defining and interpreting the U.S. Constitution to correct the current trend of making the constitution a “living, evolving constitution, rather than the enduring document it was intended to be.”
