Originally from Massachusetts and more recently, California, I first came to Montana in 2006 to visit one of my dogs who was with a field trial trainer in Ronan.
Instantly hooked on the area, my husband and I bought property and built a house in the North Crow area of Ronan.
After several years of part-timing it between California and Montana, we moved up here full time in 2010.I think I have always been interested in weather.
My first serious activity was a weather map for a 7th grade science fair project.
We find that the weather in the Mission Valley is particularly interesting.
The influence of the topography is fascinating and I am continually amazed by the variety of cloud formations that I see here. I'm always weather watching!
