Horse rescued from septic sinkhole

CHATHAM, Mass. - Firefighters successfully rescued a 15-year-old mini horse from a four-foot sinkhole in Massachusetts that was the cesspool of an old septic system.

According to WSHM-TV, authorities responded to a home in South Chatham after a caller reported the animal had fallen into the hole around 6 a.m. Friday.

Firefighters dug a ramp for the horse to safely walk out of the hole. The horse was uninjured, but agitated by the incident.
