Dozens of people turn out to the Gallatin County Fairgrounds to hear some patriotic music and watch the fireworks.

Red, white and blue light up the big sky.We could hear folks singing while loud booming sounds busted colorful flames over the high mountain terrain.

The Bozeman Symphony led their last song into the fireworks show.

Hot temperatures finally cooled down by the time the fireworks started after 10:30 p.m. A light cool breeze blew through the fairgrounds.

The Fourth of July, is a Federal Holiday commemorating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence back in 1776. The U.S. declared their independence from the Kingdom of Great Britain.
