BILLINGS, Mont. -

The Montana Highway Patrol is looking for a man who ran away after being hit by a pickup truck on an Interstate 90 onramp near Billings.

Sgt. Derek Brown tells The Billings Gazette the driver of the pickup reported a young man ran in front of his truck and was hit at about 5:40 p.m. Thursday. The teen got back up, but ran away when the driver said he was going to call police.

The pedestrian is described as a 16- to 17-year-old male with shaggy brown hair and light facial hair. He was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and a black baseball cap.

Brown says while the youth apparently wasn't injured, he was worried about the possibility of internal injuries.
