HAVRE, Mont. -

A 46-year-old Havre man is charged with hiding cameras at his house and taking photographs of his girlfriend's 16-year-old daughter.

The Havre Daily News reports Gary L. Peterson pleaded not guilty on June 26 to felony sexual abuse of children and possessing and producing child pornography.

Court records say police found sophisticated photography equipment in the house he shared with his girlfriend and her daughter.

Charging documents say the case came to light when a former co-worker of Peterson's discovered nude images of the girl while looking for computer equipment. Human Resources Development Council Executive Director Karen Thomas said Peterson had been dismissed from his job at HRDC before the photos were found.
