BOZEMAN, Mont. -

Gallatin County's annual fireworks show is set to light up the Bozeman sky.

Workers put the finishing touches on the show midday Friday at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds.

More than 1,000 individual blasts will make up the 17-minute display, put together by Big Sky Fireworks in Helena.

Bozeman pyrotechnician Phillip Walker says this year's show should be a blast-filled event.

Walker said, "You can hear the crowd in the background screaming and clapping. And you can hear them 'ooh-ing' and 'ahh-ing' throughout the show. And just to hear that, that's pretty cool."
