BOZEMAN, Mont. -

A former Montana State University student faces a misdemeanor charge after a woman reported he grabbed her arm in a dorm stairwell and told her he was going to rape her.

24-year-old Shane Patrick LeNoble pleaded not guilty to disorderly conduct during a hearing in Bozeman Municipal Court on Thursday.

The woman was able to get away from the man and called police. Court records say she identified LeNoble in a photo lineup.

LeNoble was a student at the time of the Jan. 12 attack. He has since withdrawn from school and has been issued a no-trespass order.
