Kalispell welcomed the first day of spring with snow on the ground, but that didn't stop people from heading outside for activities Thursday.
People were out and about at Woodland Park. One woman and her son were feeding the geese and ducks. Others were walking their dogs and jogging.
People NBC Montana spoke with said they're eager for the snow to go away and welcome the warmer weather.
"Planting my flowers and getting ready to go out to the lake, camping and all the fun stuff that comes with warm weather," said Donna Kessler.
"Good weather, barbecuing and that kind of stuff," said Dominick Sassani.
Some people mentioned how long winter has been this year and they are just ready for the sunnier weather to come to Flathead County.
