BOZEMAN, Mont. -

The Gallatin County Sheriff's office says thieves broke into a string of cars and stole valuables in broad daylight today at the Riverside Country Club in Bozeman.

Deputies said between one and three in the afternoon, they received 5 reports of car break-ins at the country club parking lot.

The suspect or suspects stole purses and other personal items.

The Sheriff's Department says they were surprised by the break-ins, because the country club was busy at the time.

The case is under investigation, they haven't identified any suspects.

The Sheriff's Department urges anyone with information about this crime to contact them at 582-2125.

We also spoke to workers at the Riverside Country Club who say they're disappointed and shocked by the break-ins, and hope it is just a one-time incident.
