Today's Severe Weather Threat Level is Low.
A ridge of high pressure will bring sunshine and very warm temperatures to the region through the week, weekend and beyond. We can expect clear, cool nights and sunny, very warm to hot days through the period. High temperatures will be a good 10 degrees above normal with several locations in the mid to upper 90s by the end of the week. The exception will be Wednesday afternoon. Some monsoon moisture will move from the desert southwest northward into southwest Montana. There will be isolated afternoon showers and storms mainly south of Missoula, around Butte and Bozeman. There is a slight chance again Thursday and Friday afternoon and again next Monday.
