A ridge of high pressure will bring drier skies and warming temperatures to the region this week. Today's high temperatures will be in the upper 60s to mid 70s, with highs in the 80s on Tuesday.
Wednesday and Thursday will be the hottest days of the upcoming week with highs in the upper 80s and low 90s around much of the region.
The ridge will drift east, allowing for a southwesterly flow to develop. This will bring a few isolated thunderstorms to the region by the end of the week. Temperatures will remain in the mid to upper 80s through Friday.
