Another pleasant day is on tap for the second day of September. Ample sunshine with high temperatures in the low to mid 70s.

A storm will drop out of British Columbia tonight and Wednesday. The best location for showers remains along and north of interstate 90 around the Kalispell area. Snow level will drop to around 7000 feet and snow is possible in the higher elevations of Glacier National Park. Those venturing into the back-country should be prepared for cold and wet conditions. Temperatures will run a  good 10 to 15 degrees below normal with highs  in the upper 50s for the Flathead Valley. Elsewhere, a slight chance of showers with high temperatures in the to low 60s.

The impacts of this storm will be short lived. Mostly sunny skies return Thursday with near normal high temperatures by the end of the week.
